The English Football Association have fined Manchester United £20,000 following a misconduct charge on their players in the FA Cup quarter-final clash against Chelsea on Monday at Stamford Bridge.
The FA confirmed the charge on their official website on Friday evening.
The charge was in connection with the sending off of Ander Herrera in the 35th minute which saw United players engaging referee Michael Oliver and Chelsea players.
Chelsea went on to win the game 1-0 following N'Golo Kante's goal early in the second half.
A statement on the FA website reads: "Manchester United have been fined £20,000 after the club admitted an FA misconduct charge and accepted the standard penalty.
"It relates to a breach of FA Rule E20(a) for failing to ensure its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion in or around the 35th minute of their Emirates FA Cup quarter-final against Chelsea on Monday 13 March 2017."
