–First batch depart on Thursday for U-20 Women’s W/Cup.
The Nigeria’s U-20 female team, Falconets will fly out of the country on Thursday for their final camping programme in Canada ahead of this year’s FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup holding between 5th and 24th of August.
The Nigeria Football Federation Spokesman, Ademola Olajire revealed to Complete Sports yesterday that the team will leave in batches, with first batch leaving on Thursday while the second batch will leave on Friday.
“As I am talking to you now, all arrangements have been concluded for the team to travel. Though, they ought to have left this country before now for their camping program, but the situation of things recently in our football which came with the FIFA suspension in the last two weeks obviously hampered the journey”.
Olajire also ascertained that the girls are focused on a mission to doing the country and the continent proud Canada.
“We have a squad of able, courageous and confident players and I believe we have the capacity to go all the way in Canada,” said.
