Super Falcons Skipper Evelyn Nwabuoku insists that the Nigerian women team will get it right at the FIFA world cup in Canada.
Speaking after she led the African women champions to a resounding 8-0 whipping of Mali to qualify for All Africa Games, Nwabuoku said the best of Super Falcons has yet to come adding that the team will peak for the World Cup.
“The win over Mali is a massive one and I am glad it went the way we planned it. We are looking forward to the next game which is the Olympic games qualifier against same Mali. We can only keep improving.
“I celebrated the goal I scored against Mali because I dreamt about scoring such wonderful goal and I worked towards it and when the chance came I took it and I give God the glory”, she stated.
She continued “Our next match is against Mali and I can assure you that we won’t underrate them, we can’t write them off because they will go and prepare well but they cannot stop us from qualifying for the Olympic games.”
The Rivers Angels star midfielder also assured her fans to expect more goals from her to compliment the striking trio of Desire Oparanozie, Asisat Oshoala and Francisca Ordega.
