The Nigeria U23s and the Super Falcons will on Thursday know their group opponents when the draw for the football event of the 11th All Africa Games in Brazzaville, Congo, will be held.
The draw is scheduled for CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
The teams the Samson Siasia-led U-23 side will be contending with in the men's football event are hosts Congo, champions Ghana, Burkina Faso, Egypt, Senegal, Sudan and Zimbabwe.
While for the women, the Falcons have Congo, Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, South Africa, Tanzania, champions Cameroon and Egypt to contend with.
And according to a statement on cafonline.com, the continent's governing body has released the procedure for the draw.
The U-23s and the Falcons failed to qualify for the 2011 All Africa Games in Mozambique.
The last time the Nigeria U-23s featured in the games was in Abuja 2003, when they won silver.
On their part, the Super Falcons won gold at the 2007 edition in Algiers.
