Torino are keen to tie Iago Falque down to a new deal following interest from La Liga clubs during the summer transfer window. The Spanish striker joined Torino from Roma on an initial loan deal in 2016 before making a permanent move the following year.
Falque has managed 24 goals in 75 Serie A outings for Il Toro and was linked with a switch to Sevilla during the summer.
The Serie A club are keen to keep hold of the 28-year-old and have offered Falque an extended deal on improved terms.
The striker’s current contract is set to expire in 2020 and his new deal is expected to run until 2022.
