By Adeboye Amosu: Enyimba head coach Paul Aigbogun admits his side must step up their peformance if they are to book a place in the semi-finals of the Federation Cup, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The Nigeria Professional Football League champions will battle Rivers United in the quarter-finals at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan on Wednesday.
The Peoples Elephant have struggled to maintain top form this term and needed a late Ezekiel Bassey strike to book their ticket in the last eight at the expense of Julius Atete FC.
The former Warri Wolves coach told Completesportsnigeria.com that his players must be at their best to stop the Pride of Rivers.
"'Rivers United are a top quality side and it's important we up our performance if we want to beat them,"Aigbogun told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"We have not done well in recent games, but we have the quality to beat them.
"'We have done well in the competition in recent years and it will be great to win it again."
