Manchester United have released some good news regarding the condition of their former manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
Ferguson, 76, suffered a brain haemorrhage on Saturday and had to undergo emergency surgery.
“Sir Alex no longer needs intensive care and will continue rehabilitation as an inpatient,” United announced on their official website on Wednesday.
“His family have been overwhelmed by the level of support and good wishes but continue to request privacy as this will be vital during this next stage of recovery.”
Ferguson is Manchester United’s most successful manager ever and one of the most decorated in world football having won 13 Premier League titles, two UEFA Champions Leagues and a bunch of other trophies in 27 years at the helm at Old Trafford.
There has been an outpouring of messages of support for the fiery Scot since the surgery.Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
