Manchester City midfielder Fernandinho is set to miss Thursday’s English Premier League clash against Arsenal due to a hamstring injury.
The Brazilian was withdrawn in the 52nd minute of the Carabao Cup final triumph over Arsenal last Sunday.
The midfielder has featured in every EPL game for Manchester City this season, scoring three goals.
“@fernandinho is set to miss our trip to Arsenal this Thursday in the Premier League due to a hamstring strain suffered in the Carabao Cup final. #mancity,” Manchester City tweeted on Tuesday.
Manchester City lead the EPL table with 72 points from 27 games.
