Watford manager Quique Sanchez Flores has stated that he will not prevent Odion Ighalo if he decides to represent Nigeria at the Rio Olympic Games.
According to eurosport.co.uk, Flores insisted he will allow Ighalo be in Rio if he decides to despite the fact that it could disrupt his pre-season preparations.
"It depends, on the players also. Some players want to go to the Olympic games, other players prefer to rest," Flores said,
"It depends, but finally if the decision of the player is that he wants to go, I am happy."
Flores also added that he is not surprised that a lot of clubs are showing interest in Ighalo following his brilliant goal scoring form for the Hornets this season.
"Speculation about Ighalo is very normal. He has been one of the best strikers of the season, so it's very normal," he said
