Ex-Burnley defender Michael Keane says Sean Dyche will turn things around after their 5-1 loss to Everton. Keane was part of the Toffees team that dismantled the Clarets in the first half, with quickfire goals from Yerry Mina, Lucas Digne, and Gylfi Sigurdsson setting them on the way to victory on Boxing Day.
Burnley did pull one back through Ben Gibson but Everton were in cruise control thereafter and went on to win 5-1.
It means Burnley are 18th in the Premier League table, and a far cry from their heroics last season when they managed to finish seventh.
However, Keane, who played for the Turf Moor club between 2015 and 2017, says they can improve this season and it is small differences that are preventing them from winning games.
“It’s probably a bit of confidence,” said the 25-year-old when asked what has gone wrong for Burnley. “It wasn’t an easy game by any means today, it was a really tough game, a proper battle and we had to fight for the whole 90 minutes. It wasn’t a walk in the park for us, it was still a tough match. It’s just little things and small margins that will change for them and then they’ll be back to winning games.”Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
