Brighton forward Jurgen Locadia is looking to leave the club in January and is hoping for a switch to La Liga in Spain. The 25-year-old has found first-team football hard to come by under Chris Houghton this term, featuring sporadically over eight games, and it is not enough for a player who wants regular action.
He is currently away in Holland and told the Dutch media that he had been at the club long enough – he signed in January from PSV Eindhoven – to make a name for himself and if it wasn’t going to happen, he wants to try somewhere else.
Locadia told De Telegraph: “I try to stay positive, but I also get older. I’m now at an age that I have to play weekly. At Brighton, I do not feel that my situation will change quickly. “In my opinion, I never had the chance to show what I am worth.
I think winter is a good time to think if this is still good for me. “I haven’t had a real clear explanation why I don’t play. The coach will find the other strikers better. I must, of course, respect that. But it is also my career, I cannot keep saying ‘yes and amen’.
“I train super hard, I am top fit, but I have to show it in ten minutes of inclusion. That is really difficult. I hope for a club in Spain, Germany, something like that.”Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
