Fraser Can Go Anywhere He Wants To Go

Eddie Howe says Ryan Fraser can “go anywhere he wants to go” and the Scottish winger has a bright future if he believes in himself. The ex-Aberdeen starlet, signed for £400,000 as a teenager, scored two and assisted one more in Bournemouth’s 4-2 home win over Leicester on Saturday to maintain his excellent form this season.

The Cherries opened the scoring with their first shot on target – Fraser’s bending effort nestling beyond Kasper Schmeichel and into the far corner.

He then doubled the lead on 37 minutes, latching onto Callum Wilson’s defence-splitting pass and tucking neatly past the Foxes goalkeeper.

Fraser now has three goals and two assists in his five games this term and could soon be attracting interest from elsewhere in the Premier League.

“He can go wherever he wants to go, with his age, attitude, he has a really bright future,” said Howe.

“The key thing for him is believing how good he is and he’s reinforcing that himself with his goal and performance.”

Fraser was thought to be an injury doubt before the game after undergoing treatment on a hamstring problem he picked up during the international break.

But Howe was always confident the wideman would be ready to face the Foxes.

“It was just a case of managing his training and he looked fresh today which is great,” he added.
