Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser has backed team-mate Charlie Daniels to bounce back after his error during the defeat to Wolves. Left-back Daniels gave the ball away in a dangerous area before Diogo Jota’s strike fell to Raul Jimenez who opened the scoring in the 12th minute.
Ivan Cavaleiro then wrapped up the win late on as Bournemouth lost their sixth game in seven matches under coach Eddie Howe.
Daniels’ position is under threat this year after the arrival of Diego Rico but Fraser is confident the fan favourite will respond well over the Christmas period.
He told the Daily Echo: “He is a top professional and if he’s made a mistake, he’s made a mistake. We all make mistakes, you don’t want to tell him about it, he knows himself. “He will get on with it, come back stronger and we will all come back stronger. The way we play it is always going to happen. It happened and we need to move on. When you give away goals at a high level, it’s difficult to come back in a match. “We were always going to have a lot of the ball but sometimes we need to see it out a little longer and not give cheap things away.”
