West Ham star Ryan Fredericks has revealed there have been some harsh words in the dressing room following the Wolves defeat. The Hammers are yet to register a point this season and while it is too early to suggest the pressure is on, there is definitely a feeling of unease.
As they prepare for this weekend’s trip to face an unbeaten Everton side, Fredericks says the players have tried to sort things out amongst themselves.
“Some hard truths were spoken after the Wolves game and everyone wants to do the best for the club and the best for themselves,” he said.
“We spoke about it in the dressing room afterwords, that that kind of performance was unacceptable.”
Speaking to the official website, he added: “We’ve been working hard over the international break and we’re confident of a much better performance and hopefully a better result on Sunday.”
