Fulham reportedly spoke to Arsene Wenger and Andre Villas-Boas before settling on Claudio Ranieri as their new manager.
The Cottagers made the dramatic announcement on Wednesday that they had parted ways with Slavisa Jokanovic after a dreadful start to the Premier League season, swiftly appointing ex-Leicester and Chelsea boss Ranieri as his replacement.
Talks behind the scenes over a successor to Jokanovic appear to have been taking place for some time, with reports now emerging claiming the west London outfit spoke to several different candidates.
Wenger is said to be one of those the club held talks with although he was not offered the position after making it clear he did not want to manage in the Premier League again after 22 years with the Gunners.
Ex-Chelsea and Spurs boss Villas-Boas and former Watford chief Quique Sanchez Flores were also thought to have been sounded out although only Ranieri was offered the position.Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
