English Championship club Fulham are set to offer Nigerian forward Sone Aluko a new contract.
Aluko, 28, has been heavily linked with a move away from Fulham with Reading, handled by Manchester United great Jaap Stam, reportedly showing interest.
According to standard.co.uk, Fulham are considering giving Aluko a new deal to tie him down to the club.
Commenting on talks about Aluko leaving Fulham, the Cottagers manager Slavisa Jokanovic frowned upon the idea, stating he will fight hard to keep the former Hull City player.
“All I can do is fight. Around me, there is news we’re thinking about selling him. If we do this, then it will be a big mistake for my team,” the coach said.
Fulham have already tied down both Ryan Sessegnon and Tom Cairney to new deals this summer, while Tomas Kalas has again arrived from Chelsea on season-long loan.
Also they have confirmed the signing of Aboubakar Kamara from Amiens for an undisclosed fee.Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
