Gabriel, Egwuekwe Go Down With KuPs In Finland

Nigerian duo Reuben Gabriel and Azubuike Egwuekwe were both in action for KuPS who lost 1-0 away to SJK in their Finnish first division game on Monday.

Gabriel and Egwuekwe both featured for 90 minutes in the game with the former receiving a 47th minute yellow card, while their Nigerian teammate Gbolahan Salami was not listed for the game.

Aristote Mboma scored the only goal of the match which secured the win for SKJ.

With the defeat, KuPS are now fifth on 27 points in the 12-team league.

The appearance against SKJ means Gabriel, who was in the Nigeria squad to the 2014 World Cup, has now played 18 league games for KuPS, with three goals.

On his part, Egwuekwe has now made 17 league appearances for KuPS so far this season.
