Gabriel Joins Boavista On Three-Year Deal

According to infomation gathered by SL10.ng, Nigeria international, Reuben Gabriel has ended speculation about his future by penning a three-year contract with Boavista FC.

Despite the freezing of squad rosters by FIFA, the 24-year-old was allowed to join the Portuguese team as he had been a free agent when the transfer market closed early September, following the expiration of his contract with Waasland-Beveren.

Officials of Boavista had flown to the United Kingdom to thrash out terms with Tony Harris, the representative of the central midfielder.
One of Stephen Keshi’s favourite pupils, Reuben Gabriel made the squad lists for both the 2013 African Cup of Nations and this summer’s World Cup, and was given match time in the second-round loss to France at the Mundial.
