Former Nigeria international, Ifeanyi Onyedika, is on the shopping list of Gabros International Football Club, Completesportsnigeria.com can report.
Onyedika won the 1980 Africa Cup of Nations with then Green Eagles.
He had previously handled Dolphins of Port Harcourt, Abia Warriors amongst other Nigerian elite clubs.
Completesportsnigeria.com checks reveal officials of the club are in advanced talks with Onyedika.
"We're trying to bring Ifeanyi Onyedika as technical adviser," an official said without wanting to be named in print.
"This is because the Argentine coach who will lead the team will join us in the capacity of Technical/Management Consultant."
Olisa Onuchukwu is the General Manager of the club.
He previously played professional football in Germany with VFL Bochum.
Chief Gabriel Chukwuma, who last week reclaimed the club from oil mogul, Ifeanyiubah, told Completesportsnigeria.com his newly hired Argentine coach will arrive in January, 2016.
"We are expecting him in the first week of January," Chukwuma, a former vice chairman of Nigeria Fooball Association said.
"Before his arrival, our team of indigenous coaches will handle players' screening exercise which will start on December 10."
He also revealed the official signing of the partnership agreement with two unnamed European clubs will take place next week.
