Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has categorically ruled out selling striker Krzysztof Piatek to Napoli. Piatek only made the move to Genoa in the summer as he joined the Italian outfit in a 4million euros deal from Cracovia.
The 23-year-old has already made an impact in Serie A with three goals in two appearances, and Napoli have now emerged as potential suitors.
Preziosi is confident Il Grifone will be able to keep the Polish forward, and stressed Genoa have no intention of allowing him to join Napoli.
“As for Piatek, History has shown that no deal is possible between Genoa and Napoli, so we can’t be buyers or sellers with them,” he told Radio Marte.
“Piatek’s an important player for Genoa, but he still has to prove his worth.”
