Nigeria coach, Sunday Oliseh is understood to have voted for Abedi Pele's son, Andre Ayew, for the Glo-CAF African Player of the Year, 2015, held in Abuja on Thursday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Gabon and Borussia Dortmund of Germany forward, Pierre-Emerrick Aubameyang dethroned reigning four time winner, Yaya Toure of Ivory Coast and Manchester City of England to scoop the African Footballer of the Year award for himself and country, Gabon.
Completesportsnigeria.com recalls that Yaya Toure finished second in the award.
The voting was right reserved for African countries national teams head coaches or technical directors.
