Goal-Shy Emenike Caged Again

Fenerbahçe striker Emmanuel Emenike admitted that the game against Bursaspor was tougher than he had expected.

The Yellow Canaries left Bursa with a point following the 1-1 draw against Bursaspor.
“To be honest it was a hard earned point, tougher than expected,” Emenike said.

“We could have even won the game but it was a really tough match and I thank God that we were able to leave here with a point.

“It was not my best game, I am not going to put it down to being played out wide or wherever, I play as the centre forward sometime and on the wing sometimes. “I try to do everything I can for the team.”

The Nigerian international has two goals and one assist for the Yellow Canaries this season.
