AC Milan are believed to looking to land Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin on a free deal this summer. The 32-year-old will see his contract in the Spanish capital run out at the end of the current campaign and a number of clubs are thought to be interested in the veteran’s services.

Manchester United were previously linked with the Uruguay international but the Red Devils failed to get a move over the line for the South American defender.
Reports in Italy now suggest the Rossoneri are more than ready to chance their arm and, with Godin possessing a Spanish passport, a move to Serie A would not be a problem for the Atleti talisman.
