Nigeria’s Doreen Amata finished a distant 10th in the final of the women’s high jump final at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia on Saturday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Amata recorded a jump of 1.80m to place 10th.
She was tied with Sammer Lecky from Northern Ireland who also recorded the same leap.
Levern Spencer’s winning jump of 1.95m won gold for Saint Lucia.
Morgan Lake from England won silver with a jump of 1.93m while Nicola McDermott won bronze 1.91m.
