Nigeria’s Oluwatobiloba Amusan won gold in the women’s 100m hurdle final with a time of 12.68 seconds at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia on Friday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Amusan thus became the first Nigerian to ever win gold in the event.
Amusan beat two Jamaican athletes Danielle Williams and Yanique Thompson to the most prized medal.
Williams recorded a time of 12.78 seconds to win silver while Thompson won bronze with a time 12.97 seconds.
