Gold Coast 2018: Quadri Qualifies For Men’s Table Tennis Singles Final

Aruna Quadri has qualified for the men’s singles table tennis final at the ongoing Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Aruna defeated Sharath Achanta from India in four straight sets 12-10, 11-9, 11-9, 11-7.
The 29 year old will face Ning Gao from Singapore in the final billed for Sunday.
Samuel Walker from England will battle Achanta from India in the bronze medal match.

Aruna defeated defeated Xue Jie Pang    from Singapore 4-1 (11-5,8-11, 11-5,11-5,12-10)  in the men’s singles Round of 16.

Aruna also brushed aside Harmeet Desai from India in the four straight sets in the Quarter-finals of the competition on Friday.

    Pls be the only able body man to win gold….the rest are sleeping to some extent women sports should be given more emphasis as they tend to be more serious if given adequate support. See the likes of Amusan and the wrestling trios for men olusoji fasuba was the last we saw to be consistent in delivering medals
