Marko Grujic would consider extending his loan spell with Hertha Berlin if the club can qualify for the Europa League.
The 22-year-old arrived on a season-long loan deal from English Premier League side Liverpool, and is already said to be mulling over the prospect of extending his stay by another year.
Much will depend on what happens between now and the end of the season, but the player seems open to the idea of an extended stay in Berlin.
The Serbian star (Grujic) is under contract until 2020 and some reports have claimed that Liverpool would consider a permanent deal if someone matched their £4.5million valuation.
“We will think about it,” Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp said. “We always want to help the players. First of all as a club we have to think about ourselves. “I really see Marko in the future playing for Liverpool. But he’s not playing in the moment so we have to see what we can do to make it more likely that he comes through in the near future.”
