Pep Guardiola is in contention to win his fifth Premier League Manager of the Month award after he was nominated for the January award.
Guardiola, who guided Manchester City to three wins and one defeat in four matches in the month of January, is up against Carlos Carvalhal (Swansea), Eddie Howe (Bournemouth), Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool), Jose Mourinho (Manchester United), David Moyes (West Ham) and Mauricio Pochettino (Tottenham).
The Spanish manager won an unprecedented fourth-consecutive Barclay’s Manager of the Month award in December.
Meanwhile, Manchester City stars Sergio Aguero, Kevin De Bruyne have been listed for the Player of the Month prize. They face competition from fellow nominees Christian Eriksen and Jan Vertongen (both of Spurs), Eden Hazard (Chelsea) and Callum Wilson (Bournemouth).
Aguero scored five goals – more than any other player in the division during January – including a perfect hat-trick in the win over Newcastle while De Bruyne’s scored one goal and provided two assist.
