Nigeria men's handball team on Monday lost 25-20 to Morocco in their fourth game at the on-going 22nd edition of the Men's Handball African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
The defeat was Nigeria's third in the championship, after losing to Cameroon and Egypt in their first two games.
Their only win so far was against Gabon, which they narrowly won 31-30.
On Tuesday, they will take on Algeria in their last group game, and must emerge victorious to stand any chance of advancing into the quarter-finals.
Meanwhile, the three teams that have booked their place into the knockout stage in group A are Egypt, Algeria and Morocco.
