—Eyes National Team Comeback
By Johnny Edward:
Dynamo Kiev midfielder Lukman Haruna has warned the Super Eagles to avoid the mistakes that cost the team their AFCON title defence in Equatorial Guinea early this year when they take on Chad in Kaduna on Saturday.
Haruna play in an All Stars game at the Mountain of Fire football pitch on Wednesday and told Completesportsnigeria.com that the
Les Sao will jump at any chance to shock Nigeria just like Congo did last year in Calabar.
The 2007 world U-17 champion with the Golden Eaglets, who spent the second half of the Ukrainain season at Horvela, added that he hopes his five-year wait for a recall to the Eagles will come someday.
"Its a fresh start for the team and I urge them not to make the mistakes that cost us the 2015 AFCON defence," he told completesportsnigeria.com.
"Chad are not in the class of the Super Eagles but they will want to emulate Congo and South Africa who have taken points off us.
"Not defending the AFCON was a huge miss but I believe we will start on a good note in Kaduna."
Haruna also hinted that he could move away from Dynamo.
"I still have a contract but I could move if the right offers come my way," he added.
