Eden Hazard is loving life under Maurizio Sarri but feels the manager must show his true colours if Chelsea hit a bad patch. Hazard’s early-season form has reflected that of his team’s, with the Belgium international netting five Premier League goals and registering two assists to help the Blues into third spot in the top-flight standings.
The Stamford Bridge outfit won their first five games and have 16 points after a goalless draw with West Ham United last time out.
They appear in great shape and a different side to the one that struggled under Antonio Conte last term.
The arrival of Sarri seems to have reinvigorated Hazard, who was linked with a move to Real Madrid over the summer but now seems to be happy in west London.
Asked whether he was enjoying life under the new man, Hazard told Sky Sports: “Of course. We try to keep the ball. When you are an offensive player you just want to keep the ball.
“We create a lot of passes and chances. We had a bit of trouble [against West Ham] but I think the beginning of the season was great.”
Things will doubtless get tougher during the winter when the games begin to stack up and Hazard feels it is then that a coach can really earn his money.
“He is a great manager, but it’s easy to say when you are winning games,” he added. “We will see in a bad moment. For sure he is a great manager, and he showed that to the world.”Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
