Hiddink: Hazard Out Of Villa Clash, Pato Could Play

Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink has ruled out Eden Hazard in Saturday’s away clash against relegation candidate Aston Villa.

Hazard, who was the English Premier League’s best player last season, has had a dismal season for the Blues.

Speaking ahead of the game against Villa, Hiddink also revealed that Diego Costa has recovered from his injury but wouldn’t be available against Villa.

“I will talk to the medical staff today but Hazard is not available for now. He is on the pitch but with the physios, outside the group,” Hiddink said.

“Costa trained very well the past week, he was very ambitious and enjoyed working. He is not injured anymore.”

He gave information on the availability of Oscar, Bertrand Traore and Willian who were involved in international duties.

“Today Oscar, Traore and Willian came in one day before the game. We will see how they are in their fitness and freshness after a long journey. We will see if they are available tomorrow.”

He also said on-loan forward Alexandre Pato, who has not played for Chelsea since his move in January, will be in the squad that will travel to the Midlands.
