HJK Helsinki head coach, Mika Lehkosuo, is delighted with the arrival of ex-Nigeria star Taye Taiwo at the club.
The erstwhile Marseille of France defender recently penned a short-term deal with the Finnish club.
Lehkosuo told the club official website that the experienced left-back will add more solidity to his side’s defence.
”Taiwo is an experienced player, who has already proved himself in the past,” Lehkosuo said.
”He is the type of defender we have been looking for and he will certainly improve our defence.”
Taiwo who has not played competitive football for the past 16 months after he terminated his contract by mutual consent with Turkish club Bursaspor was not successful in a recent trial at Polish Club Legia Warsaw.
