Reports emerging on Wednesday from various sources in the British media indicate that Super Eagles stars; Ahmed Musa and Wilfred Ndidi and their Leicester City teammates may welcome a new coach at at the club in the person of Roy Hodgson who may have been approached for the manager role following the sacking of Claudio Ranieri, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

The Leicester Mercury reported that Hodgson who has been out of job since leading England to the 2016 Euro tournament in France  has shown interest in the job.

Craig Shakespeare is currently in interim charge of the Premier League champions after the 'Tinker Man' who led Leicester to the title just nine months ago lost his job due to the team's poor run.

Shakespeare who led the troubled side to an impressive 3-1 win against Liverpool on Monday night has publicly admitted that he would like to be considered for the position on a full-time basis, but Leicester are understood to have made contact with a number of managers, with a possible employment at the end of the current season.

Dutchman Guus Hiddink and former Leicester player, Roberto Mancini who later handled Manchester City and Inter Milan are the other candidates for the job although various reports in the British media claim both men have turned down the club’s approach.

Ndidi have proven to be a revelation since his January move, but Musa has not particularly impressed The Foxes fans.

Leicester City who are 15th in the league table with 12 games remaining after the win against Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool, host Hull City this Saturday.
