By Taiwo Adesanya:
Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, arrived at the home-based Super Eagles camp on Friday ahead of Saturday’s 2016 African Nations Championship qualifier against Burkina Faso.
The Super Eagles Twitter account had said on Wednesday that Oliseh would arrive on Sunday due to illness, therefore missing the qualifier.
The former Nigeria captain’s arrival excited the players at the team’s Hotel Presidential camp, one of the players told Completesportsnigeria.com.
Oliseh is not expected to be in charge of the Super Eagles B team in as they host Burkina Faso.
“Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh arrives at the team’s hotel in Port Harcourt and the atmosphere lights up,” the player told Completesportsnigeria.com.
Nigeria are targeting their second straight qualification for the CHAN tournament having finally broken the jinx in 2014 when they made it to South Africa to feature in the competition reserved for senior players plying their trade in their country’s domestic league.
The winner over two legs between Nigeria and Burkina Faso will be eligible for a place at the 4th African Nations Championship taking place in Rwanda early next year.Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
