Home Eagles To Arrive In Lagos Saturday Ahead S/Africa Trip

 By Bamidele Boluwaji:

Complete Sports can report that Home Eagles will arrive in Lagos on Saturday morning ahead of their trip to South Africa, where they will perfect preparation for the 2016 CHAN tournament holding in Rwanda.

Eagles technical coordinator, Tijani Babangida told Complete Sports that all arrangements have been concluded for the team’s trip to Lagos, where they will board a South African Airways flight to Pretoria, South Africa.

Coach Salisu Yusuf who has been with the team in the absence of Coach Sunday Oliseh, said there was no need to bring in any new player as replacement for Gbolahan Salami who opted out of the trip.

Complete Sports also gathered that the coaches under the instruction of Coach Sunday Oliseh will drop two players from the 25 in camp on Saturday before boarding a flight to Lagos.

“We have a tight schedule now and we are not thinking about any replacement for Salami. Already, there are 25 players in camp and we need 23 for the tournament, so our focus now is on how to do well in Rwanda”, says Salisu.

It would be recalled that Gbolahan Salami opted out of the tournament due to a proposed deal in Norway.
