Cardiff City are understood to be one of two clubs keen on Hull City’s topscorer Jarrod Bowen ahead of the January window opening. Bluebirds boss Neil Warnock has already admitted he will be looking to add to his squad in the new year as they battle against the drop and bringing in players who can add to the goals for tally are top of his wish list.
The Welsh side are now understood to be taking an interest in Bowen, who has netted six times for the Championship side this season.
The 21-year-old has been one of Hull’s standout players in recent weeks during a rare purple patch for the East Yorkshire strugglers, prompting Cardiff and Fulham to add him to their list of targets. A transfer fee of £5million has been mentioned by The Sun but the Hull Daily Mail claimed the club’s hierarchy would not listen to any offers below their valuation of £20million.
Bowen has often been linked with a move away from the KCOM Stadium in the last 12 months with Everton having previously been mentioned in connection with the winger.
