Ibe Strike Gives Liverpool Capital One Edge Over Stoke

Liverpool gave their chances of qualifying for the final of this season’s Capital One Cup a huge boost following their 1-0 win against Stoke City in the semi-final first leg at the Britannia on Tuesday.
Jordon Ibe who replaced the injured Philippe Countinho, scored the only goal of the game in the 37th minute.
Both teams will face each other again in the reverse fixture, which comes up at Anfield on Tuesday, 26 January.
Liverpool won the Capital One Cup in 2012.
Last year winners, Chelsea, were knocked out by Stoke City via penalty shootout in an earlier round.
In the second semi-final billed for Wednesday, Everton will welcome Manchester City at Goodison Park.
