Iceland striker Alfred Finnbogasson has expressed his readiness to face the Super Eagles in their second Group D clash of the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup on Friday.
Debutants Iceland will go into the game full of confidence following their shock 1-1 draw against two-time World Cup winners Argentina in their opening game.
Finnbogasson became the first ever Icelandic player to score at the World Cup as he cancelled out Sergio Aguero’s opener for Argentina.
And ahead of the game, Finnbogasson commented on a picture of him in training getting ready for the clash.
“Training. Full focus on Nigeria,” he wrote on his verified Twitter handle.
Iceland are joint-second in Group D with Argentina, Croatia are top on three points while Nigeria are bottom with no point.
