Enyimba FC new, signing Lordson Ichull, has exclusively told Completesportsnigeria.com that he switched to the Aba Millionaires because of the history of the seven time Nigerian league champions.
The People's Elephant on Monday confirmed the acquisition of the former Nasarawa United defensive midfielder and the excited player bared his excitement to Completesportsnigeria.com
"It is a pleasure to have been signed by such a big club," Ichull stated.
"The club showed interest in me and I considered it a privilege to be part of this big club.
"Their history somehow swayed me to accept their offer," Ichull admits on Monday evening."
Speaking on what the objectives should be for the club going forward, Ichull hoped Enyimba can be the strong side that won titles regularly some seasons ago.
"I really hope we can win the League, Federation Cup and be a force in the CAF competitions next season," he told Completesportsnigeria.com enthusiastically.
"The feeling I get is that Enyimba are desperate to become as strong as they were few years back and I want to be part of that."
The Nigeria Professional Football League will resume on May 21 after a mid-season break with Enyimba playing away against Gombe United although the People's Elephant have a postponed game against Plateau United to prosecute.
