West Bromwich Albion’s Nigerian import, Brown Ideye says he will bank on the “Nigerian factor” in the club to excel in his time at the midlands.
Ideye recently joined WBA from Dynamo Kiev for a club record ten million pounds and is set to join up with his team mates after a delay in the issuance of a visa. Ideye told Naijafootball247.com that West Bromwich Albion certainly knows how to handle Nigeian players and he will capitalize on that.
“From Ifeanyi Udeze to Nwankwo Kanu, then Osaze Odemwingie and Victor Anichebe, we have had four Nigerians there previously and none of them has been a flop,” Ideye said.
“I think this club knows how to handle Nigerian players because they sign a lot of them and for me I will concentrate on the games when they come and put ahead of me the fact that when I get onto the pitch for a game the only option will be to win it.”
After a two week delay, Ideye finally got a visa and is expected to join his mates before the end of the week.
