Nigerian striker, Brown Ideye, was not listed by Ukrainian club, Dynamo Kyiv, in the 1-2 loss to Anderlecht on Friday.
The contest decided in Austria where the Kyiv club are preparing for the 2014/15 season,
was the Ukrainian club’s second pre-season friendly game.
The club issued a brief statement on their official website explaining why the Nigerian attacker missed the game against the Belgians.
“Yesterday (Friday) involved training work for Nigerian striker “white-blue” Brown Ideye.
“He will have some time to work individually, before joining the general group.
“In the future, the first test match of the second training camp in Austria, his appearance on the field in a game against the Belgian “Anderlecht” is not expected,” the statement on fcdynamo.kiev.ua read.
The 25-year-old then took to Twitter via @OfficialIdeye to post several photos of his workout on Friday.
Ideye scored five goals in 19 league appearances for the club last season. He scored two goals in the Ukrianian Cup and three in the Europa League last term.
