Defensive midfielder Akinjide Idowu has rejoined Nigeria U20 team, the Flying Eagles, after trials at Norwegian club Sogndal. The trials lasted about two weeks.
Idowu trained Monday morning in Abuja with the Flying Eagles, who are preparing for a final African youth Championship qualifier against Lesotho later this month.
However, fellow Flying Eagles star Abdullahi Alfa is still trying out at the Norwegian club.
Idowu, who was part of the team who won a record fourth FIFA U-17 World Cup last year in the United Arab Emirates, has also undergone trials in Sweden.
