Ifeanyi Matthew Joins Norwegian Club Lillestrom

By Adeboye Amosu: Nigeria midfielder Ifeanyi Matthew has joined Norwegian side Lillestrom, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Matthew, a key member of the home- based Super Eagles side that featured at the African Nations Championship in January, penned a four-year contract with Lillestrom on Thursday.

The versatile midfielder has also represented Nigeria at the U-17 and U-20 levels.

He joined Nigeria Professional Football League side Kano Pillars on loan from Hearts FC at the beginning of the current season.

Zenith Ziva

Nigerian stars Nosa Igiebor and Anthony Ujah have also featured for Lillestrom in the past.

Two other players from Kano Pillars, Prince Aggreh and Emmanuel Edmund, are also currently undergoing trials in Norway.
