  • Most underrated and less talk-about, igbohun was too hot to handle for Anzhi’s defence in this match.

As mentioned in the above article, he powered a header into the net for his goal.

Also, the former FC Midtjylland sharp shooter held the line well and made the assist for his team’s second goal.

He was a menace for long periods.

With pace almost as quick as Musa and a decent finish to match, it is a wonder this guy does not get a lot of mention when it comes to national team invitations.

If given the chance, I think Sylvester Igbohun can contribute a goal or two in Nigeria’s quest to qualify for next year’s Afcon.

If he continues banging the goals for his club, he may yet get his time shine in the Green White Green of the Super Eagles.

    • @deo Please this thing of celebrating players plying their trade in the bottom teams of lower European Leagues is disgusting Enough is Enough let him move to a bigger League and a at least a Mid table or Lower top table team in that big League Bang in goals there then we can talk about him playing in Super Eagles until then Please he must stay where he is The time for Mediocre players putting on SE shirt is Over it is clearly doing our football No GOOD WE DON’T NEED HIM

You are not making sense mister. Your lack of understanding of the modern game baffles me. Yet you make it a point of duty to comment on almost every thread. Stop misleading people by hyping kak players.

And I was referring to deo. Ugo I agree with you. Accepting mediocrity is ruining our dear SE.

  • Igboun was highly commended in this particular match. He had a game rating of 8.7, bagging home the man of the match award, whilst also completing 92% of his passes, 100% take-ons and winning eight of his 9 duels contested.

Clayface, Haymaker or whatever the hell you call yourself. If you don’t like Sylvester, just shut the f**k up and stop criticising others sentimentally. Who the hell do you think you are anyway!!
It is you who is accepting mediocrity.

Hmmm….Ashy Slashy now uses statistics to describe how good a player is…??? Something must definitely be wrong (or right) somewhere….!

      • Hey Dr Drey my main man. Statistical analysis has its place as well as case study deductive reasoning.
As you know, there are various methods to analyse a football match or player, it is just getting the right balance that can be quite dicey.
