Super Eagles forward, Odion Ighalo, returned to Watford's starting line-up but fired blanks as his side held their hosts Swansea to a 0-0 draw in a Premier League game on Saturday.
The former Granada striker was left on the bench throughout the duration of the Hornets' 1- 0 win against Middlesbrough.
But injury to his international colleague, Isaac Success, who was voted man of the match in their last game afforded him the chance to start the game.
His best chance of getting on the score sheet came in 24th minute when he received a pass from Troy Deeney, turned a defender on the edge of the box but had his shot blocked.
Gambia forward, Modou Barrow, had the game's first real opportunity in the eighth minute but his shot was tipped wide by Heurolho Gomes.
The hosts dominated possession in the clash but failed to find the winner in Bob Bradley's second game in charge of the side.
They threatened a couple of times through Gyfil Sigurdsson but the visitors remained resolute in defence.
Etienne Capoue was also lively for Watford but couldn't add to his impressive goal tally this season.
