Super Eagles forward, Odion Ighalo says he is keen to improve his form after scoring the winner for his English Premier League side, Watford in Saturday’s 1-0 home win against Swansea.
The well built forward who helped the Hornets gained promotion to the English top flight from the championship last season, now has two goals to his name in the current campaign after scoring in the opening day draw at Everton.
Ighalo who recently penned a new five-year contract with the London based club insists he will not be complacent just because he now has the security of a long term contract behind him.
“Just because I have signed a five-year contract does not mean I’m going to fold my arms because I’ve secured my contract,” Ighalo told the Watford Observer.
“I want to work hard and keep improving every day as a player and a striker and helping my team achieve their goal at the end of the season.”
