Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo has been declared fit for Watford's game against Leicester City on Saturday at the King Power Stadium according to various news sources in England.
Ighalo limped off with a dead leg in Watford's win at West Ham after a heavy challenge from James Collins, but the striker will be fit to face the high-flying Foxes.
Meanwhile with the January transfer window beckoning Ighalo could have some competition to contend with as his club manager Quique Sanchez Flores has reiterated that he could sign free agent, Emmanuel Adebayor, in the next transfer window.
Adebayor, a free agent after the final year of his contract at Spurs was terminated in September, has this week been linked with a move to Vicarage Road.
The former Arsenal and Real Madrid striker would be able to join a Premier League club in the new year and Watford are reported to be interested in his services.
When asked about the free agent ahead of his side's Premier League clash against Leicester on Saturday, Flores said in his club's pre match conference:
"I am focused on the players I have on the training ground, but for me, the most important thing is that good players want to come to Watford.
"This is very good news so we would welcome every good player and every good name.
"I am not talking about any player in particular but I love the players with talent, with hunger, with soul, and who is a very good person. So, if we are in this case it would be perfect, but there are no names at the moment," Flores said tactfully.
The Hornets, though, have lost just one of their five games on the road so far this season in what has been a commendable return to Premier League action.
Watford have won only one of their last six league trips to Leicester, losing four of those.Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
