Ighalo Makes Watford Goals History, Ujah Scores, Iheanacho Makes First EPL Start

Odion Ighalo made Watford history on Saturday when he scored a brace against West Ham in a Premier League clash at Vicarage Road.

With his second brace of the season, the Super Eagles striker became the highest scorer in Watford’s Premier League history with seven goals, overtaking Heidar Helguson and Hameur Bouazza, both on six goals.

Ighalo, who scored one goal in each half, has now scored seven of Watford’s 10 league goals this season and assisted two.

Manchester City’s Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho was handed his first English Premier League start at home to Norwich at the Ethiad Stadium.

It was his sixth start for Mainz this season.

In Scotland, ‎Efe Ambrose replaced Jozo Simunovic in the 78th minute of Celtic’s 3-0 home win against Aberdeen.

Ambrose who has been called up for the Eagles 2018 World Cup qualifier against Djibouti next month has made eight appearances in the Scottish Premiership this season.
