Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo scored his first goal of the new Chinese Super League (CSL) season as Changchun Yatai were held to a 1-1 home draw by Beijing Renhe in Sunday.
The goal was Ighalo’s first after three league games for Changchun Yatai in the new campaign.
Beijing Renhe went 1-0 up in the 28th minute through Gang Wang but with two minutes remaining in the first half, Ighalo drew Changchun Yatai level.
The draw means Changchun Yatai remain winless after three league games (two draws, one defeat).
They now occupy the 12th position on two points in the 16-team league table.
Ighalo scored 15 goals in 27 league games for Changchun Yatai last season.
